Can anyone recommend which tyres I should buy. I'm looking for something that will last (hardwearing) but I don't want them to be noisy. I put a set of Michelein Pilot Sport 3's on last July which cost me £500 including balancing and they have only done 15K miles and the front ones have gone and the back will be following in a few months. I do drive carefully so its not down to driving style. Don't think I'll buy Michelin again.
My last Megane had Continental tyres on and I was well pleased with them.
The car has Wolfrace Asia Tech after market wheels fitted and the tyre size is 17 x 45 x 225.
Any one got any ideas?

Re: Which Tyres
I always liked Kumho Ecsta Sports on our Renaults, they rode really well having a stiffer sidewall than many, grip was good and wear was more than acceptable.
I have never been a fan of Conti's, I find the grip is poor especially in the wet and wear rate unacceptably high.

Re: Which Tyres
I'd be happy with 15k from a set of tyres..
If your after some that are reasonably good and will last.. try falkens and even the kumho ectsa spt are good for price..
