Side airbag deployement place

Hello
i've got a 2008 renault megane II estate and it's not equipped with leather seats

so i want to cover them with leather but i got into a problem which is the side airbag

i want to know from where does it deploy ? is it from the side of the seat or from the plastic cover at the bottom of the seat on which Airbag is written ????

do you have any suggestion to cover the seats in leather ?

buy renault leather seats. a few people have done so on here. not sure where from. breakers or ebay usually.
