Thinking of buying Megane Sport Tourer - any advice?

Hi

New here. Currently drive a Skoda Fabia but we're looking for something a bit bigger for the new baby and all his baggage! Like the look of the Megane Sports Tourer.

Any advice? He says he and his partner are moving back to New Zealand.

I was hoping to get the price down a bit from £2499 by at least a couple of hundred. What's a fair price?

Any help would be much appreciated! - I get nervous about looking at second hand cars. I've only bought two and have been stung both times!

Thanks for the advice. I'm not necessarily looking for anything that exciting! Just a fair price and something that isn't dodgy! I've looked at some 1.9 diesels but the fuel economy doesn't seem to be hugely better than the 1.6 petrol. Although the 1.5 diesel is said to return 60mpg. But the seem to be going for a few hundred quid more.

Anyone else got some helpful tips on looking at a 1.6 Megane Sport Tourer?
