Hi there,
This is my first post and I would appreciate any assistance that you can give me. I drive a 2005 megane tourer. I have notice that the carpet in the storage compartment in front of the passenger seat is wet, as is the carpet at the feet of the rear seat, also on the passangers side. I cannot find any obvious cause. Does anyone have any idea what might cause this or how it can be rectified.
I contacted my main dealer who stated that they would need to take out all of the seats and lift the carpet to try and locate the source of the leak (if thats what it is). This would take both time and a considerable amount of money.
Has anyone any ideas??
Thank you
Water under carpet

Re: Water under carpet
thank you dave for the quick reply
I checked those links and the speakers seem to be possible culprits. I will have a go at the weekend of taking them out and checking for a leak.
