My car has been re-called

I got a message from Renault stating that they need to reprogram the injection computer. Has anyone had this done before?

Is it something to worry about?

They did say that it is not a safety related, but just got me thinking. :neutral:

Was it a VOSA recorded delivery recall? If not - I wouldn't worry. Would be interested in what they do to it, however - for the greater good and all that.

My boss at work had the same/similar recall for his Scenic 2 months ago.

I called Renault yesterday and they said it is just to check if it has any issues with the software and if so to then program it. Nothing to worry about apparently. :cool:

Will be taking it in on Tuesday.
