Identity Problem 55/06 facelift switchover

Hi,

I own an 06 megane 1.9 dci which i believe is a 130 but.......... it is pre facelift which suggests to me it may be a 120? I have tried to find an 06 that looks the same as mine on auto trader for a while now but they are all facelifted from 06 onwards. All documents and car checkers online say its a euro 4 130 but i am not convinced as its the older shape? Does anybody know if the 130 dci engine was ever used in the pre facelift megane??

Possibly a late registered pre-facelift car. There should be a sticker on the inside of the drivers door with the model number on.

If I remember correctly, the 1.9dCi 130 engine was introduced approx June 2005. I do remember coming across 05 and 55 (pre-facelift) registered cars with this engine.

Yep, my car is a 55 plate and is the 130 bhp version.

I have an 05 pre-facelift 1.9dCi sport hatch & it is a 130bhp. On one of the door sills there is a placard which says exactly what it is - mine says sport hatch dynamique 1.9 130 bhp. They are a rare beast though! The engine is just superb!
