Annoying scratches on my Handbrake

Hi there i have recently bought a Renault Megane extreme 07. The car is in good cond, however there is lots of scratches on handbrake from previous driver. Does anyone have ant tips on how to try get rid of scratches as it looks bad how it is, any advice greatful cheers tom

It’s very difficult to remove scrapes from plastics... That part of the console splits into three or more bits. Just take the bit that has the scrapes along to Renault and buy a new one.

Renault is expensive for parts, but if it annoys you that much... And it’s only a small part so won’t be that expensive. But be prepared for it to cost more than you think it may!
