Hi there, this is my 1st post but I have a bit of a dilema. My wife and I bought a 55 plate 1.6VVT Renault Megane Scenic on Monday. On Tuesday the Toxic Fumes/Service warning light came on and we noticed the battery was flat. I charged the battery up again but when my wife took the car out on Thursday the car kept stalling. I have let the dealer know of the problems and he has offered to give me a full refund for the car.
I am keen to hold on to the car as it has low miles and is in great condition, plus I feel I got a good deal. I have booked the car in to the Renault garage for a service and to check the problem behind the Toxic Fumes/Service warning light. Am I doing the wrong thing here and should I just take the car back and get my money back?
I am covered with a £250 ScotSure warranty when I bought the car. Not much I know but something. I do not mind paying out a couple of hundred pounds to resolve this issue but worry that if I get the car checked by Renault it may highlight a major fault and I will not have the option to return the car.
Can anyone advise?

Re: Dealer wants Megane Scenic Back!!
Thanks for the reply. You are right, the car is not fit for purpose & may cost £££s to fix.
