Megane Coupe Convertible Question

Hi,

New to the forum so please go easy on me!

Have just bought an 05 Megane Coupe Convertible 1.6 Dynamique and while washing it this morning I noticed some grime underneath the clear plastic protectors by the rear wheels. Is it okay to just peel these off? Or do they serve some higher purpose I'm not aware of? Looks like the paintwork underneath is fine so thought about removing them then giving it a good clean and wax.

I guess replacements for these are available from the local stealer?

Hi there, I am thinking of buying a megane convertible, but have never owned a car with an electric roof etc. How are you finding your car? What is the MPG? I would love to know more about your driving experience.
