Magic touch

Postby Toosh » Sat Feb 07, 2009 7:24 pm

My driver side front indicator stopped working so off to Halfools i went and bought a new bulb. I got back to my gaff and turned the wheel as most folks reckon to be able to do the bulb changing game without taken the wheel off. Well i couldn't get my arm in thanks to my dirty great 17in Nervas, so out came the jack and the wheel came off.
Having a look into the dark cavern i could see nothing, so threading my arm in and had a prod/rive about i couldn't figure out how the hell to take the plug/bulb out.
By this point frost bite was setting in and my language was getting worse so i gave up and put the car back together and went in the house swearing and stamping my feet.
Today got in the car to get some wine from Tescos (3 for ten quid) :D and its working fine. I have no idea what ive done but hey its working fine.
Done a quick search on here and it looks like its the plug not the bulb that fails, so maybe i just have a magic touch.

Thanks for reading

Yes. I was getting a little nervous about maybe a future garage trip. For an added bonus i didn't open the bulb packet and i kept the receipt so next time i'm passing Halfrauds i will be asking for my money back

3 bottles whilst changing a bulb not bad.
Lucky it wasn't the headlight you might have needed a case :-)
