Left for work this morning, had a bit of a torvill and dean moment pulling out of my road, further up road ambulance with the blues and twos goings pulls up at T junction, stop to let him out. Now I'm following an ambulance and behind me is a fool driving right up my chuff. Two miles later and a couple more dancing on ice episodes im still behind ambulance with the fool still up my chuff.
Now we come up to a tight lefter, a police car is parked up lights going with a volvo parked in a hedge/fence. Ambulance stops past police car, I stop before police car-wave and smile from police lady think i will sit here a mo and allow the ambulance to sort itself out.....Fool up my chuff now flashing his lights, Medic has chat with police gets in and carries on obviously to another problem, more ice skating still have fool up my chuff until we hit a nice slide on a corner ahh now you back off and then disappear.
so if its cold and icey and people are slideing about back off plus the car in a hedge and an ambulance should be good pointers to stop driving like a tube......

I whole heartedly agree with you on that one Bumpy.
Tuesday morning, no grit on the roads (typical!) and people are driving like twonks.
Being followed to work by a bloke in a micra who obviously had a thing for my rear end. (no comments) in the middle of a series of S bends, big patch of frozen run off water which was visable from a good distance away to both me and this pillock behind me. I back off and choose the middle line through the bends, this bloke does not and chooses the normal line and drives into the bend....... and does not make it out of the other side, but instead ends up on the pavement bouncing along and norrowly missing a large stone wall, his face was a picture and I suspect he changed the colour of his undeware as well

Needless to say once he made it back onto the road he was driving much more carefully
Make improvements, not excuses!

Over here on the North East coast we have had tonnes of snow on tuesday on wednesday. I drive for a living so i see plenty of muppets driving like its a dry sunny morning when there is actually 2 inch of compacted snow on the road, but all i need to say is that yesterday morning i heard on our local tin pot radio station that our local police had attended 37 separate accidents in 3 and a half hours
Just shows how many idiotic people are behind the wheel when the weather is bad.

Yep I'm with you all on that one.Where I live (Derbyshire) we had a little snow on Wednesday morning at around the time I went to work 7am. We were in the works van (which is a Renault Traffic I may add!) tootling along steadily on the dual carriageway that leads to the M1. The snow was covering the roads which surprised me and even the M1.We joined the slip road to get on the M1 and I could not beleive the amount of idiots driving up peoples chuffers and the speed they were going at.It really gets to me that these idiots drive the way they do and give no consideration to others and it's them that get away without so much as a skid or a swerve and it's the poor buggers that drive according to the conditions that ebd up skidding off the road into a field because of idiots like that up there rear end!

the idiots that drive up the backside of your car get right on my tits whether there is snow or not....almost as much as the muppets that drive in the middle lane of the motorway when there is no need...sometimes, it's like having my own private lane on the motorways because of these dick heads
