dci 120 poor mpg
Hi i am new here so go easy on me last week i bought a 53 reg dci 120 and looking on the trip computer it only manages 33 mpg just had it serviced no improvment is there anything else i can try cheers

didnt they check the error codes during that servicing? 33 mpg is VERY poor, sths bound to be kaputt there...

thanks for the reply they did not check for fault codes if there was a code would there be warning light on

If you've only had it a week i'd give it chance to get a good average.
Depending on driving you're doing will affect it. Sounds like it needs a motorway run to bring it up a bit.
I can reset mine when filling up and around town etc it'll bob around mid 30's until i get on motorway and it'll soon start to shift up.
For your info mine is around 47mpg doing 500miles a week 60/40 split motorway/town.
It's dropped a couple of MPG in the last couple of weeks due to cooler weather and will drop another couple when winter sets in.(Can't wait for next summer!!)
Give it time and see if yours gets better, i hope it does.

who said that? not true. my air-mass sensor actually also produces an "intermittant error" entry but no warning light has come up as yet....
