I am so sorry for posting this but I am a little confused (easily done). I bought a 2005 (05) plate Megane Dci 1.5 100 at the weekend and I am now looking into some of the issues that came with it, passenger window not working, cam belt needing replacing in 2000 miles. Can someone please explain the difference between a Megane, Megane II, Megane III etc.. It seems there was a model change in 2005 and I am not sure if mine is pre this change or post. I presume it would be prior to this change as it is a 05 plate. Is there really any difference between the models when looking at Cam belt kits, water pumps etc..
Regards and thanks

No worries about asking, that's what forums are for.
This https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Renault_M%C3%A9gane gives you the model years, pictures, faceliufts, production runs etc.
Yours is a Megane II but you need to be sure whether it's the 100 or the 106 (VIN number check should tell you).
