Good buy?

Postby macmac » Thu Jun 09, 2011 10:39 pm

I think I've just got a very reasonable buy.

05(pre-reg' 55) megane 1.4 16v Dynamique. 1 lady owner from new, FRSH, 19,250 miles!! Immaculate, really immaculate condition. tax & mot'd, even had a full tank of fuel :-) Every possible document from new & unused second key card. £3000. Private sale.

Oh, & it's metalic black (pain to keep clean)

I've seen cheaper but not in the same league as this one.

What do you think?

I kid you not, it's almost like new, so good it made me a bit suspicious for a few minutes while viewing it. Everything checked out though, to the letter & the family who owned it were very nice people.

I just hope it's not plagued with electrical problems. I had a Kangoo van D65 1.9D for nearly 6 years & it never let me down, a real work horse it was UNTILL- the key fobs & immobiliser packed in. By this time though the van didn't owe me a penny & it was 9 years old, I sold it cheap as to repair it wasn't economical both in money terms & time for me.
