Official Dealer Costs

Postby xcz_megane » Fri May 02, 2008 4:15 pm

How expensive are Official Renault garage for repairs on average? Im booked in in the next few days for some repairs, and whilst I know they are likely to be expensive, Meganes are sometimes complicated to give over to regular mechanics! what do other people think about this?

They are expensive on labour, the bigger the dealership the bigger the bill :(
Smaller Renault garages are cheaper but not much.

A good independent should be able to handle most if not all the work you would want doing on the car, the only thing they might need is access to a CLIP for certain things?

See if you can find a good independant Renault specialist in your area? Yellow pages, Thomson local, t'internet etc...
