Just wondered if anyone had any idea why there appears to be no coupe version of the megane 2016 onwards. Looking on the road the MK3 coupe seems to have sold really well or maybe you just spot them when you own one. The original marketing story of coupes was that despite them making little profit due to the comparative limited numbers sold they drew the public into showrooms and then you can sell the 5 door when they realise the coupe is unpractical for their needs(i.e families). At the same time they give flair/sporty image to the brand.
Coupes seem to have made a comeback in the last few years so surprised not to see a coupe version of the megane. Any thoughts?

I think its all down to cost. But at the same time I thought coupes sold better than 4 doors....
Re: Why no coupe
