Has anyone heard of Drumsticks?

I had my car serviced over the weekend and I've been advised the drumsticks need replacing on the front suspension.
Does anyone have a clue what they are?
Renault don't seem to be able to tell me clearly, which is a pain as I wanted to get some quotes online, as they quoted me £460.
I've searched the net and nothing comes up under drumsticks. :banghead

Chicken drumsticks by Bernard Matthews? sorry.

Must be wishbones, especially at that price. If so tho, it would just be the wishbone bushes that need replacement surely? unless of course you have to buy the whole lot as there not sold separately. Hmmm.

maybe they mean the anti roll bar drop links ??, they connect the A/R/B to the front suspension strut. 1 on each side with a ball joint at each end,if so,prob 30min job,so £460 at the stealers seems about right

They mean the steering track rods that are part of the steering rack. You can buy them seperate from the rack.

Ok thanks a lot, I'll have to have a shop around as Renault seem a bit expensive.

The cheapest eBay ones are often crap quality which only get you through one MOT.... :( I'd fork out a little more to get proper quality parts, original Renault or then Lemförder or equal.
