Will alloys from a 53 plate clio fit a 2004 1.4 megane?

ive checked the internet for fitment and its telling me that a megane is pcd 4x100 and the offset is 35-42, and according the the same website the clio matches this.

Can any1 help me pleaseeee

Yes they fit the 1.4 (259mm front brakes as in the Clio) but not necessarily the bigger-engined Meganes (280mm front brakes).

The Megane offset is actually 45-49, but anything down to 25 fits if you don't go with a tyre over 205mm wide.

the lower offset pushes the wheel further out right?
