Sorry if I'm being really thick and it may be an obvious answer but could somebody tell me what the VVT stands for please.

On the Megane it is an On/Off system.. When the engine revs reach 1,500 the inlet camshaft is retarded by 6 degrees. This gives increased valve "overlap" and increased power output.
