Hi people. Now im sure this as come up before on the forum but i cant seem to find the thread :-(

Its time for some wiper blades all round, have been looking around on the net and found these

What do you think? I like the price but should i just keep with the standard type of wiper?

can i suggest visiting a Renault dealer for the rear wipe...? i try cutting down a wiper blade and put on the rear but just did seem to be as good as the one that i had removed. went to local dealer and paid around £10 for the rear wipe, which some may say for a wiper that small is a tad expensive.

not sure if it is the same with all meganes, but when using front wipers, there is a very loud click/clonk noise when the wiper has reached its vertical position on the screen, where is then returns to its usual position. is quite annoying as it does it all the time, only time it doesn't is when there is a lot of rain on the windscreen, is quite annoying when driving on motorway in the spray!

in my view this is always the case with those stupid boneless wiper blades....I tried both Bosch and Valeo and they both were just as sh1tty....
I found on my car that the best wipers are the Valeo (SWF) standard ones:

Klick

They, of all wipers I tried, produce the least screeching (none atually) and also change direction nearly clonk-less...not to meantion that they wipe the screen absolutely flawless....no traces whatsoever.

The only disadvantage is that they lack in terms of "fancy looks"....but I for my part dont care about that.

to be honest, as you said, looks aren't important! the change of direction clonk is the most annoying thing!!!

Well ive had them on a few days now and one word really can some them up. Brilliant.

Drove about 50 miles in high winds and driving rain without a problem, no smears, no noise, they didn't jump off the screen in big gusts of winds or when an artic went by. The best wipers i ever bought. Very happy :D

Now just need the rear wiper. Anyone know the part number?

Yeah, cheers M

My local Renualt dealer is a bit thick, hence why i want the part number. Giving a part number over the phone should be easier than trying explain what i want
