Speaker Sizes can anyone help??

Hi i've got a Megane 03 plate 1.9 DCI 5 door i want to change the speakers in all 4 doors does anyone know what sizes they are i know i can take the doors apart but just want to buy the speakers then put them in, please help,

i think in terms of effort and difficulty the best bet is to use these for replacement:

they are readymade for the megane including the plugs....you simply klick them in and that's it.....sound in my view is fine....

the doorspeakers are 13 cm in diameter and have to be very flat because otherwise you get problems with water coming in off the speakers....
the tweeters are standard tweeters for cars....also included in that pioneer set.

no they are not, they are 13 cm in diameter, both front and rear.....at the front you have to watch the depth as well because of the water getting into the car when the speakers are to deep into the door....

Hahaha, no 13 cm indeed unfortunately...

It's possible to fit 16 cm in the front, see this topic:

Most people have fitted the Pioneer TS-Q131C in the front. Sounds great. I've got Pioneers in the back as well (TS-E1396).

Yes, and those Pioneers are 13 cm in diameter and Renaults factory speakers are 13 cm in in diameter......Although I will definitely check that fred you mentioned as I would love to get 16s in as well.....
