Hi,
Dont suppose anybody knows if the screws/attachments which hold the plastic battery cover in place can be purchased from Renault and if so, what the part number(s) would be?
I will approach the local dealer, but I can already see the stock "no - you have to buy the whole cover as a kit" answer!

Cheers,
Pete

well, finally got these - what a bargain, only £2.80 + VAT for a couple of screws and a little clip thing!
mind you, nothing compared to the cost of the spark plug grease which I got (based on posts on here about how it is important to protect the coils) - what a snip at £34 a tube!
cheers,
pete

Now
that would have been a bargain!

Provided it had been MOT'd, of course......
@ pmoss: You don't happen to have the part numbers for the above parts?

Wouldn't a tiny bit of copper grease on the threads have done the job for just a few quid?

^ I think he meant grease for the coils, not the spark plug threads. The grease goes between the rubber 'boot' of the coil and the spark plug, preventing water getting in. I think it's called fluorine grease or summit like that?
BTW, copper grease is not ideal for use in aluminium cylinder heads, as it can provoke oxydisation of the aluminium... Might be better to use aluminium grease instead (costs about the same as copper grease).

Went to Renault Today to order these, got the pins from the part number but they could not recognise the below on any of the parts systems or the renault main parts listings.
77 03 072 393 N/STOCK RIVET METAL @ £1.24
Anybody know of a different part number for these?
