Why did you not get the spare when you bought the car? :?
Your dealer should have supplied you with the 2 cards.

I doubt that you will get much change from £100 but I could be wrong? :(

my dealer only give me one card and said they would get me another one in a couple of weeks. they called me up when they got they card and programed it for free.... surely they cant charge you for a spare key card when your supposed to get 2?? give them a buzz n find out.

I was quoted £141inc vat for a new keycard

All that for a bit of plastic and a circuit board no wonder renault don't build anything to last

was with my dad at Toyota for some trim parts, and on the wall is the prices for a new Key: £127.

Considering the Renault key is a bit more sophisticated... the extra £14 ain't much difference.
