No squeal, but I feel that a lot of brake 'feel' from the pedal has been lost. Its hard to describe. The initial bite when you first step on the pedal is no more...

No, I bleed brakes every year...

I would describe the feel of GreenStuff as smooth-progressive-secure. There is less of on/off feeling and no fading. It is always good to have more control in the process of braking.

It makes little difference for normal driving in the UK, but somewhere in mountains on a serpentine road one would appreciate this characteristic. Imagine, overtaking downhill, braking sharply just before the bend, braking gently in the bend to prevent understeer, then accelerating again to the next bend...

Yes, I will. Furthermore, our former rally driver LGC (Antmat at Parker's) recommended these pads in his early messages, which unfortunately disappeared due to the database crash.

He also warned me against changing the rear pads only, which may upset the balance under braking. So, I've installed GreenStuff all around.

I have these pads. They're good. There's not much choice though for aftermarket pads. Hopefully i'll have a better feel with them after my 36k service and brake fluid change tomorrow.

in my experience the greenstuff pads are more progressive. like has been siad before you do lose some of the initial bite, especially when the brakes are cold but you do gain in more feel through the rest of the pedals travel.and they give off less dust
