new tyres to my megan

Postby chefmaxi » Sat Oct 27, 2007 9:39 pm

Hi my name is Maxi and i'm from israel.

I just bought a new megan(well, not new new, but still its new to me... )

For a start i'll need to change the tyres because they are realy dry and in realy bad condition ,since the old owner of the car never replaced them.(its a 2004 megan hatch coupe 2.0 Liters)

I would like to now your opinion about a new set of "shoes" to my beloved hatch. Are there any good recomendetion to this specific car?
The measurments are : 205/55/16.

Thanx in advance and hopefuly soon i'll have some pics of my baby to add to this forum...

Perhaps you can consider some bigger size of wheels?
I do not know the quality of roads in Israel as well as your wealth.
Do you prefer budget tyres to premium ones?

Well ....
let say that the qulity of the roads in israel are not the best in the world...
The weather here is sunny almost all year around ,so wet roads are not something to take in consideration.
Is it recomended to change the size of the wheels that are given by the manufactorer? I dont realy want to change the size of them anyway.... :-)

I'm looking for a good "value for money" deal.
I dont mind paying as long as the tires are well worth their price.

what do you think of the Goodyear Eagle NTC5 ?
