chris, please look under 'ownership problems',look for "dealer roadtest to the moon & back" go to 2nd page, scroll down to my scribing on mon 6th 1.04am.
Ignore performance figures, they are answering another members question with a 106bhp,also look at my sig. below for performance details on a 120dci, with a tuning box.

regards, martin..

Hi,
Where did you get your box from and how much did it cost? Was it £350, because I was looking at something cheaper. Where abouts does it attach to the car?
Also you got any idea on the 0-60 time?
Thanks
chris

chris, my box came from 'rossiters' nr.king lynn,a beemer/vauxhall performance garage but is also sole distributor for 'p.box' in the uk.Mine was £400+vat retail (sorry i got mine at trade he is a customer of mine).
Do not buy any thing priced under £300 ish,a)you may not get the power increase you expect b)it might upset vehicle electronics.
Easy to fit, remove engine & battery covers, take your box, fit + & - terminals to battery, then just remove each injector terminal, lay the wiring loom from your box across the rocker cover & connect the clip on adaptors to each injector. To remove or refit takes literally 5 mins.
Can't tell you 0~60 times, but i reckon performance is up byapprox 30%. Hope this helps,

regards, martin..

hi chris. i had mine done by superchips. it made a massive gain in torque and a good gain in hp. mine was rolling roaded and the results were 343nm (300standard) and 146hp (120 standard obviously). i managed to swindle them down to £460 form 511. i know a good tuner (rs tuning) that is offering to remap the 120dci for £375 i think and will give the same gains. he is in leeds so not too far from you. if you wan this details let me know. hes just done a remap on my 172 cup and its made a good improvment to drivability and all round performance. i wouldnt go much more above 340nm as the gearbox's wont be reliable with much more than that. to give you an idea, i ran 7.8 to 60 at the FCS 2006. apposed to the 10.* standard. i did also have a sebring back box and green cotton panel filter installed too.

Hi, get your cars ECU remapped, mines been done and its like a whole new driving experience, massive amount of torque and significantly higher bhp. There are many companies doing this, just try 'Google', and find one in your area, the tuning boxes are no where near as good, and are detectable.

Angel Tuning always had a good reputation with Alfas but I haven't tried them. Worth a call.
Maybe Andy can get us a discount?

Sorry, I didn't make it very clear, but my remap was actually done on a Ford Galaxy Tdi, the company does other makes too, it is up on power from 115bhp to about 155bhp+, a staggering performance difference with not a great deal of fuel consumption increase, providing you don't drive it hard all the time. :)

Not sure remapping a 1.4 Scenic would make a great deal of difference !

stevie, increase in power as follows,

diesel turbo + intercooler +30%

diesel non-turbo +20%

petrol turbo +10/15%

petrol non turbo +5%

all increases are approx. & go for plug in or remap.

do note that with most re-mappings ... the entire map shifts which makes driving more fun... so even with 5-8% increase.. the car can feel very different... of course.. i'm all for 30% increase.. hehehe..

i've remapped my 1.6L NA Petrol.. car feels so much more responsive and different now... torque curve is smooth and hits at a high from 2,500 to 5,000 rpm...
