Phillips cd player control stalk adapter

Hi there.
New here so not sure if this is the right place to post this.
I have a philips cd player, had for a while and love it!
however, i would love to get the control stalk on the wheel working again!
i know i need an adapter but i have no idea at all what to use!
Guidance would be lovely
