Please feel free to watch this Youtube video for an explanation why we should not hunt for cheap "matching" replacements for OEM oil filters. Although the video is by Mann while our filters are Purflux, this does not change the main point related to causes of expensive failures. Mann are on my good guys list, and some of their products are used in Meganes (e.g. the air filter in R.S.250 Cup). Our OEM Purflux oil filters seem to be a bit more advanced, as Purflux fit even more filtration media due to their patented pleating.
