Hi everybody !...
I'm new in this forum.
First of all i would like to thank everyone who participated for this forum creation,and i would like also to thank evrybody who shared his experience(s) with others.
I bought a renault megane 2 hatchback (2009 model) with only one key /card.
By surfing the internet ,i found this device called ( ELM327 V1.5 OBDII OBD2 CAN-BUS USB Auto Diagnostic Interface Scanner)
but when i contacted the dealer he told me that is not compatible with megane 2009 model.
So please has anyone has experienced this issue who can help me to find out which device can fit my car to diagnose it and to program a new key /card .

The elm device is fine for your car but only reads engine faults.
As for your keycard you need renault canclip but unless you access the dealer network even that will not work. Im afraid that the only way is to put it into a dealer. The new cards have to be ordered from your chassis number and come from france. The last time I checked they charge about £160 for this
