Hi,
Sorry if this is the wrong place for this post.
My 07 Megane GT 2.0 diesel is due a service in the next month and I have been getting quotes from various garages - however there seems to be some confusion over if the car has a belt or a chain and thus when it should be replaced.
Anyone able to offer advice or confirm which it is I would be most grateful.
Cheers
Dave

I don't know off hand but if you phone Renault and give them your number plate they will be able to tell you what you want to know

All 2.0 dCi engines have timing chain. Whoever from whichever workshop told you 2.0 dCi has timing belt, should be avoided as plague, shot in the head by a rotten egg and *add yourself at will*....
