Renault CLIP

Postby joeishmather » Tue Mar 22, 2011 8:38 am

Looking at buying a Renault diagnostics clip to do a couple of things on my car, would anyone be interested in buying it off me afterwards?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/RENAULT-CAN-CLIP-DIAGNOSTIC-SCAN-SCANNER-TOOL-2011-V107_W0QQitemZ260747070077QQcmdZViewItem?rvr_id=219882747095&rvr_id=219882747095&cguid=dcffa05112e0a0aa11d47714ff631691

If so how much would you be willing to pay? as im wanting to work out if it would be cheaper doing this or just taking it to a garage..
Many thanks, Joe

Did you not see paddy's post? He is offering use of his CLIP for the measly sum of 1 packet of KP nuts, and he's only in Huddersfield.

For it to work out cheaper than going to an auto electrician around the cost of the unit - £60/70 so about £200

Watch those china clones.

There not always what there made out to be. The firmware can be keek to say the least.

Try getting one from a dealer that is shutting.

clones have a 7 digit S.N. the rear ones have a 5 digit S.N

And if you do decide to buy a clone get it from here...

Same thing (a clone ) and its 'only' £174 with free del.

He last visited in September 2012 so I don't think there's much chance. I've tried PMing him a few times as well without success :(
