Pedal Rubbers

Quite self explainatory in the Subject, car went for service for MOT and was told to buy new pedal rubbers for brake and clutch pedal, admittedly there is no rubber on it at all whereas the accelerator has a rubber on it. Any help or will a universal set or rubbers do the job?
