Anyone fitted auxiliary driving light to their Megane II?

Well, as the winter is closing upon us and it is getting darker, I have started thinking of installing a couple of auxiliary driving lights (Hella, Bosch or similar) to assist the car's high beams. Low beam is OK as I have the xenon light, but high beam is still old-fashion halogen and I feel they barely makes any difference from the low beams. I regularly do long drives so anything adding to making those drives better is appreciated.
Has anyone fitted such lights to their Megane II? I am especially curious on how to mount them to the car. Most often, I see that those mounting brackets you attach to the front bumper behind the number plate is used. However, I feel this would be a too weak solution on the flimsy front bumper of the Megane II. Now, Hella does make brackets that is made specifically to each make and model, and they have brackets for Megane II. Have anyone tried these and could tell me how they are?
