Forget the wheel and sort out the smoke. The turbo failed because of bad oil and long service intervals. There might be still plenty of dirt in the engine. I guess, the crankcase ventilation system may be blocked, causing the excessive pressure and oil leak through the turbo seals. Consider cleaning it, always use MB229.5 oil (e.g. Mobil 1 0w40) and OEM filters. The smoke can be also caused by the intercooler not cleaned after the turbo failure, or some residual oil in the catalytic converter. So, think cleaning, oil and 1y/9k oil drain intervals. Keep fingers crossed that they've put in a new and not a refurbished turbo.
