Hiya I have a renault megane 2, 03 plate. 16v vvT petrol i want to do the service myself and was wondering ...........what type of oil should i use? spark plugs? and air fillter. And can anyone help me by advising me where everything is located and wat tools i would need. thank you guys.

Download the workshop manuals from the sticky thread in the Ownership Problems forum, then read them. Come back when finished.
Regarding the oil. Read my thread in the Links forum. In your engine I would be tempted to use Motul 8100 X-lite 0W-30 for performance or Mobil 1 0w40, see Opieoils web site. Cheaper options will include any other MB229.3 oil.
Tools. Depending on what you are going to do.
