Front coil spring

Hi, could somebody tell me if there is already a link somewhere on here for replacing the front coil spring. If not would someone please explain how to replace one please as mine has snapped.

Yes there is a thread. You will need to separate the bottom bit, and unbolt the top bit. Then you need a spring compressor to avoid killing yourself.

If you don't understand the need for the spring compressor - trust the job to a garage. Oh and it's a funking ball ache of a job (bad access and radiator under-frame has to come out if I remember correctly).

Had a pair of spring compressers made in work, whole job less than 1 hour to do.
