Proximity alarm sensor

Does anyone know whether it is possible to fit a proximity sensor as an 'add on' to the existing thatcham cat1 alarm?

I have no idea on specs or anything relating to the standard alarm. Who makes it? :conf

Cobra but I don't think it's one of their modular alarms.
