Megane CC Rear Window mechanism

Postby alk » Sun Apr 11, 2010 12:08 am

Hi,
I have a Megane CC 53 plate. The rear side passenger window mechanism died on me the other, day when i was bringing the roof back up. In essence the window was stuck half way up. I am assuming that the mechanism in the motor is damage, since the cable that controls the height off the window is no longer being wound up.
I was wondering if anyone knows where i could order a mechanism from?? Assuming it is the window mechanism!!!

Thanks for your help :-)

Good afternoon

We have the genuine Renault part on our website - www.renaultpartsdirect.co.uk - £209.83 Inc Vat and free delivery.

You will find it under the wear and tear section on the Megane II option on the website.

I appericate that you may find it cheaper on sites like Ebay etc, the part number for the NSR is 8201010933 if that helps you.

In some cases if they stop (thoough this would normally be in the case of both windows) it can be as simple as bringing the roof to a referance point, preferably closed then re setting the front windows, sometimes the car confuses it self.
