apex lowering springs? help!

apex lowering springs? help!

just recieved my apex lowering springs off abay at a bargin price,asked him if they would fit my car make and model and manual but now i have recieved them the part no on the box says they are for the 1.6 auto,2.0 and 1.9dci where as i wanted springs for the 1.6 manual? will this make any differance? will they still fit correctly? are they just a stiffer spring due to the 1.6 auto and 2.0 beieng a hevier car?the item was off someone who brougt them and never fitted them. any sugestions please?

done that, i think i know what it is now, i think its the max loading weight. does that mean that they wont lower as much as the proper ones?

They will fit just not lower quite as much, as all the listed models have a greater kurb weight than yours. Not by much all the same.

Ie more weight compressing the springs.

I doubt you will notice the differance.

Notice much differeance in the lowered amount. Ie due to slightly less weight they may lower 25mm instead of the specified 30mm of example. As far as fittment goes all strut bearing and lower housing are the same. The springs will just be slightly stiffer.
