Roof bars for '06 Tourer

Hi Everyone
Wondering if anyone has found some decent roof bars for a Tourer? I'd prefer the type like the S44 from Whispbar but don't want to spend £170!
Saw some Laguna bars which fit between the roof rails today rather than on top, but the rails are about 40mm further apart on a Megane so I couldn't get them to fit.
Any one know if any other bars which fit between the roof rails rather than on top of them?

I hadn't realised that bars inbetween the rails existed! I just have some Thule aero ones (brushed chrome to match the car) that sit on top. It's rare that I use them (once or twice a year) now I have the tourer, but I can see the appeal of even better bars for a regular user.
