will ELM327 be ok for a 2003 dci

hi i have a 2003 megane on a 03 reg 1.9 dci

i am just wondering wether the ELM327 software will work on my car as all the adverts on ebay say it is fitted compulsory to diesels from 2004 onwards

hope some one can help

Works on mine.
Silver 08 plate 5dr 1.5dci Dynamique 106 Tech Run (re-mapped)

Red 03 plate 5dr 1.9 Dynamique dci120

Best advice for Megane owners: sell it before it bankrupts you!
