What Oil for Scenic 1.5dci 54 & service indicator

Please can someone tell me What Oil for Scenic 1.5dci 54 in plain english. Also when your service indicator has been on for a while doess the service light automatically come on??

Go here: https://www.opieoils.co.uk and ask. Fuchs Titan Supersyn RN 5W40 usually does the job. Usually some kind of discount from Guy (nice bloke) if you are a member on here (and no - I don't get commission)!

Service indicator can normally be cancelled by holding down the button on the washer stalk for 20 seconds (or the one near the speedo, or both). Usually it resets to 18k miles.

Hello, agree with the previous post, use a good quality branded 5W40 Fully Synthetic Oil to B3/B4 Spec. and a genuine Renault Oil Filter. I change mine every 6000 miles / 6 months whichever comes sooner, to help prolong engine and Turbo life !!
