The Mégane II Owners' Club

Random Question...
I have a 03 Megane 1.9 DCI, bought a new boot as this ones been rear ended...bolted it in, changed wiring loom as it was different to the old one...come to shut the boot and it looks smaller then the old one. I havnt had chance to measure the old one yet as its at work and not with the car...i can get my fingers in the gap next to be the boot and the light.
It might be due to the accident but the gaps the same on both sizes...so i wondered if they was a difference between a 05 boot and a 03 boot.

I cant see why Renault would change the boot size by a few millimeters. But i'm willing to be proved wrong.

i see no reason either - most likely due to the shunt
