silver grab handles

does anyone know if silver interior door grab handles are available anywhere,as the crappy black is wearing off mine.
were they fitted to any of the sport models?

There were silver grab handles fitted in the R26, im not sure on part numbers, but found this picture

What about taking them off and painting them or even covering them with carbon fibre - I've seen pics of both done and they look pretty smart. Not sure if painting works if the rubber has started to come off the grab handles, I'd be interested to know if this works as my driver door grab handle is similarly knackered...
