Oil Filters for a 1.9 FAP
I have bought a Bosch oil filter from Euro car Parts for my 06 Megane 1.9 FAP , the one I took off was a Mann w79 filter and is a lot longer than the Bosch , is the Bosch a good replacement filter or should I replace it with an altrnative, My problem is that I am 65 miles from a Renault dealer and not able to get them to send mail order, if I want parts I have to go 130 mile rount trip..

Re: Oil Filters for a 1.9 FAP
The Bosch filter is not going to offer sufficient filtration of the oil unfortunately,
So you will need to replace it with a genuine Renualt or Purflux one.

Found that Motoquip oil filters when the box is opend is a purfux filter, the one that they have on list for this engine is the LS933 as on other posts on this site, bought three so should keep me going for a while.
