battery cover

Postby anth_dci » Tue May 05, 2009 10:32 am

since my dci didnt come with a battery cover for whatever reason im on the lookout for one. Anyone got any idea how much one would cost from reno (and a part number if possible) or does anyone have one for sale? There nothing on ebay.

I would just ring them and ask, I know its reno but how much can even they sting you for a bit of injection moulded plastic?

You'll also need the captive nuts to bolt the rear of the cover to the metal support behind the battery. The front of the cover clips to the front slam panel, just can't remember if there's a separate clip for this and if it exists in cars that came without the cover? And there's also a third type of fixing to hold the right front corner of the cover: a similar kind of plastic "screw" or plug that holds the top of the bumper in place.
