Changing side light bulb - Megane 07

Hi all,

I have succesfully changed my headlight bulbs on my 2007 Megane in the past and finally got the trick of these, but now I need to change my side lights. Have had a look at one of the existing bulbs, went in via the bonnet as it doesnt' seem that these can be got to by going up through the wheel arch. The bulb is sitting in a black plastic holder about two inches long that seems to twist into the hole in the aseembly. However, once looking at it I had a devil getting it back in. I pushed the bulb and plastic assembly back in and turned it, but no matter how I twisted turned and prodded it the bulb never seemed to secure 100%.

Can anyone confirm for me the correct way these should be put back in? Found lots of instructions for the headlight bulbs, but nothing for the sidelights!

i know you probably done it by now..
drivers side you move the wash filler neck out the way..pull back the cap towards the wing and it just stays out the way..theres a little flap to feel for.. the sidelights simply pop out.. took me a few minutes fiddling to get the knack of it..and small hands is a bonus..unlike mine which are all cut!!.. oh..you need to remove the engine cover too..simply pulls of.. 4 x ball joint mounts
not done passenger side yet.. as my chuffin new bulbs didnt work!!
that looks a bit more tricky and may mean going in through the arch i think..

sidelights further along and does not twist off as per thread on changing headlight bulbs..the flap pulls backwards on my 07 megane.

OP didnt ask for someone to fit them for him...merely asked how to..in which I replied back and explained to him.. no need for the ffs etc etc.. its a forum in which people can get hints, tips info on problems etc..
I havnt been on the forum long but to be honest..its not the most friendly place compared to a lot of forums.. give the guy a break!!
