Hello all, I have a 2006 Renault Megane 1.9 dci (130) due a cam belt and roller set change soon. Any ideas where I can get a set at a reasonable price. From what I understand you have to change the rollers as well as the actual belt itself.

The 1.9dci 120 original Gates belt kit and water pump can be had from ebay for around £100 - £120. Not so sure about your engine. Obviously labour will need to be added as I believe that the tension is measured by an instrument that gives a frequency reading.
On the 120bhp it is normal practice to change the water pump (£30) as part of the service as it can only be accessed with the cam belt off. Whilst you're at it - also renew the coolant.

I've been looking through ebay. Do those Gates kits have all belts and the waterpump in them? I've been quoted £200 by a local garage for the kit alone plus £240 labour, so getting the kit would be a big saving itself.
