Cruz Roof Bars and the Panoramic Sunroof

Hi, just thought I'd pass on my findings re: the above.

I had a set of Cruz roof bars on a Citroen C5 and wanted to use them on my 3dr Megane with Panoramic roof. The roofbox company sell the brackets for them but list them as being unsuitable for cars with the sunroof, (as do all the other suppliers). However as I couldn't see any reason for this and afterall why would the car come with the lugs built into the roof if you weren't supposed to use them so I took a chance and ordered them anyway. I fitted them this morning and there is no problem at all, they are well clear of the sunroof and don't interfere with it open or shut so the roof bars are now fitted and ready for action.

Hope this helps anyone else in the same boat...

i came across this with mine. the dealer said it couldnt be donebut the renault brochure showed a panoramic sunroof megane with them on, it even gave the part number for the bars.
