Cd Player And F1 Alloy Query

Postby DragTheLake » Fri Aug 06, 2010 11:13 am

Hi, i'm new to this site checked it out a few times before but never popped into the forum.

I'v got a 2004 Renault Megane 1.5 DCi Dynamic 3 door, i'v owned the car almost 2 years now and had a few problems

the main one being the standard cs player eating disks at times, my benfield renault dealer wanted £160 for a new standard cd player and even told me halfords would be better for me, although i'v never seen a aftermarket cd player that looks in place in a megane, with the centre console being so flush i was wondering if anyone has a aftermarket cd player in that looks the part and doesn't look like it's a silly un needed boy racer mod?

and also i'v been hunting down the 225 F1 alloys the prices for the actual ones are abit too much but i have been told someone has made a very similar wheel i didn't get any brand names or anything and was wondering if any of you guys knew?

Cheers

Bobby

noticed i wasn't getting any replies, and after looking about the forum i realised how p"ssed off everyone gets with the "can you still use your controls on the steering wheel" etc etc

so apologies for the annoying questions i should have searched the forums first

only thing i need to find now which i havent seen yet so it probably doesn't exist, is their a aftermarket alloy made on 4 spoke to fit the phase 1 megane which is a copy of the F1 alloy although i think the rumors i'v been told are a load of bs

if anyone can elaborate it would be much appreciated

Do you have a link to these wheels?

The sport alloys are5 stud where yours are 4 stud. So not a direct fit.

I personaly have never heard of them.

There are the 17" Nervasport alloys that are 4 main spokes and 4 small. when powder coated look well.

i'v seen them i'm not really a fan

i like the look of the bellini bellas and the kei force 17's you can get although i havent checked if they are four or five stud fitment

someone who posted their Megane CC onto the megane owners club facebook had lovely alloys but i'm unsure what brand and they are most likely 5 stud

The Megane CC is 4 stud. Only the 225/175 is 5 stud oh and the 2.0 diesel Scenic is 5 stud aswell.
